El Toro is suitable for people of all ages.

Though hardly the most attractive street in El Toro, Gran Via is certainly the busiest. This is where you buy your groceries from the Spar Supermarket, your freshly baked bread and breakfast encaimadas from the Panaderia, your early morning cup of coffee and an hierbas seccas (green paint stripper with a weed growing in it) from the wayside bars and cafes.

To reach the supermarket (on foot) takes less than 5 minutes from our apartment building. Walk out of the front door, turn right, then take the first on your right. Cross the Gran Via road and it's the third building on your left.

The supermarket is usually open every day, including Sunday mornings. But like most Mallorcan businesses it closes from around 2 PM to 4.30 pm, then reopens until 7 pm.

There are also two banks where you can exchange currency or with cash machines.

The beach at Puerto Adriano is within walking distance and also has a marina and several restaurants and cafes.

Port Adriano is the perfect place for divers and sailors. You can rent boats and book a dive course.

Directly below the apartment building are many good places for fishing.

Mallorca is ideal for golfers with courses and facilities to offer those wanting to continue this sport all year round. The apartment complex is just a few minutes walk from 4 golf courses:- Santa Ponsa I, II, III and Poniente and Royal Bendinat Golf is a short drive away.

There are 17 golf courses on the island, from 9 to 18 hole courses, on varying landscapes - hilly land with inclined fairways, high tees, long and fast greens, but all carefully designed to test the players' skills, even those of the most experienced of players.

One of the nearest attractions from El Toro is the Western Park and the Aquapark. It's the combination of both a water park and a wild west theme park, that is really suitable for all the family. During the day there's a number of predatory birds shows going on, a small animal farm, and green lawned areas to relax in.

Aquapark in Magaluf is on the outskirts of Magaluf, is a giant waterpark with death defying slides, thrilling rides for older kids and some tamer ones for the toddlers.

Ideally also for biker who wants to make bicycle vacation with or without family. Many different bicycle tours to the Tramuntana mountains or along the coast are possible.

If horse riding is your thing then we suggest that you go to Magaluf (the back of the house has views to the Tramuntana Mountains). In the tiny Majorcan mountain villages you will find plenty to do including pony trekking, walking plus lots to explore.
